Pick one start
| Route | You need | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Graveyard | A dummy you can carry with Grab | That dummy rises as a zombie, and bites can infect others |
| Horde button | The red button under the SPAWN A HORDE prompt | A wave, without the walk |
The official Halloween text is the source for both results. It does not publish wave count, enemies per wave, or a payout for the everyday button.
Conversion and infection
Throw the dummy into the graveyard. It rises and can chase, pounce, and bite. A bitten dummy gets infected and turns, so the crowd can grow after you stop throwing. Nothing published describes a way to turn a zombie back.
If the count explodes, that is the infection chain. Stop feeding it more dummies until you have cleared the ones already loose.
Speeds and the other names
The description names slow, normal, and fast zombies. The City and Guns listing (20 October 2026 on event trackers) names huge Brutes and fast Runners. No sentence maps one list onto the other. Do not tell yourself a Brute is just a slow zombie.
Zombie Night, a separate 90-minute window on 24 October 2026, described growing waves and a boss. That boss was not named, and that window's reward is closed. Do not expect the ordinary Horde button to repeat the top-100 Zombie Slayer payout.
When you die
Two developer products describe failure, at the 25 October prices:
- Revive Me (10 Robux) puts you straight back in instead of waiting for the next wave.
- Revive Wave (15 Robux) revives the wave for the arena instead of sending everyone to the last checkpoint.
Both wordings imply a free path: wait for the next wave, or restart from the checkpoint. How much progress that wait costs is not documented.
If the button does nothing
Confirm the label says SPAWN A HORDE and that you pressed the red button under it, not a decorative red panel. The graveyard route does not depend on that button. If you only wanted a conversion, skip the button and throw one dummy.
